This specialised program is designed to present to middle secondary school students with the required thinking, and practical skills, to ready them for the complexity of the online space, how they interact with and inhabit it, and take carriage of the footprint that they leave within it. The workshop will help participants develop the critical thinking required to navigate what is thoughtful, fair and safe, and what to avoid because of the long-term implication of posting content that leads to unfavourable impacts on their personal and professional lives. Our participants will walk away able to pause and consider their actions before posting, sharing or responding online, developing a strong sense of their responsibility in digital spaces and the future world of work.
