Volunteering
Digital Defence is supported by a network of volunteers who contribute their time and expertise to help advance our mission. If you are passionate about online safety and have skills in research, policy, education, communications or advocacy, administration or any other skillset you think could support our work, we’d love to hear from you.
We are currently developing our formal volunteering program, however in the meantime expressions of interest are welcome via our contact form below:

Yes. If you’ve reported harmful content but feel the response was inadequate, we encourage you to share your experience. Your story helps us advocate for stronger protections and better policies.
What kind of support can I request through this form?
You can reach out to us for guidance on online abuse, doxxing, cyberbullying, or other forms of digital harm. We also welcome general inquiries, collaboration proposals, and media requests.
Will my information be kept private?
Absolutely. Any personal information or experiences you share with us are kept confidential and used only with your consent for advocacy, research, or follow-up support.

How long does it take to get a response?
We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. In times of high demand, it may take a little longer—but rest assured, your message matters and will be read by a real person.
Are donations to Digital Defence tax-deductible?
Yes, Digital Defence is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) registered with the Australian Taxation Office, meaning all donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible within Australia.
