Independent online safety organisations are a limited and substantially underfunded non-profit sector, particularly in Australia. Unlike the major platforms or government-linked bodies, organisations like ours operate without consistent commercial backing or government subsidy. That means the consistency of our work depends on the support of individuals and foundations who share our commitment to a safer digital future for all Australians.

As part of that commitment, Digital Defence publishes quarterly impact statements so that our supporters can see exactly where their contributions go, what we have achieved, and what we are working on next. Every dollar donated goes towards creating safer online spaces for Australians, and because we're an ATO-endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient, donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
